In working with hospital locations and medical professionals over the years, I've noticed how extremely busy they are. Marketing managers and coordinators have a million and one tasks on their plate, while doctors and nurses are busy attending to patients. Trying to coordinate a time that works with my schedule and yours for an an in-person photo session can be tough.

I am a professional corporate photographer with over 10 years of experience taking portraits for the Healthcare Industry. I'm based out of Port Huron, MI. My job is to make your organization and staff look good!

While in-person photo sessions have been my bread and butter (and still is, if that's what you prefer), I wanted to offer a more convenient, alternative service for those marketing managers that are especially busy.

Get Your Photos in 3 Easy Steps

Step 1: Snap a quick cell phone photo with these simple guidelines:

• Have your medical professional stand near a window.

• Make sure they're wearing their appropriate medical attire, with our without their name badge, according to your medical facility's preferences.

• Have your cell phone mode set to "portrait" if it has it, and make sure the flash is off. Also, no filters!

• Make sure they are standing with their face turned directly towards you, while their shoulders and body are turned away at a slight angle. They can simply let their arms hang at their sides.

• Take 3 photos from the waist up. Make sure to show them to your medical professional for approval! If they wear glasses, take an extra photo with their glasses off as well, in case I need it as a source photo to help with the retouching process.

Step 2: Email the photo as an attachment.

DO NOT edit or enhance the photo in any way on your phone! Simply email it to me. If you took photos of multiple professionals, feel free to send several emails to me as necessary.

Step 3: I professionally retouch your photo and send you a link to your gallery

Face and skin retouching comes standard with the service. This includes light skin smoothing, wrinkle softening, teeth whitening, and stray hair removal. I will also clean up the background as necessary, and adjust the portrait for optimal lighting, clarity, contrast, and color correction.You will now have a finished, polished portrait for use in your medical marketing material!

Is this just another AI headshot-generating service?

Nope! Your portraits are touched by a real human (me). The photos you submit are edited and enhanced using various techniques.

Why shouldn't we use an AI service for our medical professionals' headshots?

As great as AI may sound, it won't necessarily save you time with headshots. Many AI services require you to upload 8+ selfies of when you place the order, in order to MAYBE get a decent result. Do you really have the time to do that for every medical professional at your facility? And while many AI headshot services deliver dozens of headshots for you to choose from, you still have to spend your precious time sifting through all of the photos to find one that you like.

Also, the AI algorithms often return results that can look slightly off (I've tested it myself). Headshots are a subtle art, and every little detail matters! It could be a neck that looks a little too long, or a head shape/size that looks unnatural, AI photos often still need tweaking after the fact. They can change the features of your face so that you don't look like yourself...or a younger/older version of yourself by a decade.

You'll often find that you'll still need to hire a professional to retouch and adjust your AI photos after the fact.

With my remote medical portrait service, I save you time by giving you the BEST portrait for each person, saving you precious time. They retouched and ready to go. And of course, if you want any tweaks, you'll get a real human (me!) doing them for you. I've been working with medical professional for years, and can deliver medical portraits that will help increase trust between your medical facility and the public.

Wouldn't using an AI service just be faster?

Oftentimes it's not. It's a process that can cost you more of your precious time than working with a real photographer, because you'll still have to scrounge together 6+ selfies to upload to the AI service. The results often look uncanny, plastic, and lacking emotional connection, which can effect if people trust your doctor/hospital/medical facility.

AI services often give you dozens of resulting "headshots" to choose from, which takes more of your time to sort through. Additionally, it can be a challenge trying to find accurate , usable "headshot" among the results. Many will be simply unusable. Important features like eyes, facial structure, hair, and even a person's age are often changed! I've seen this firsthand. This means you'll still have to find someone to do additional retouching and tweaks if you try to salvage the headshots.

Can I request edits to the headshots after you deliver them?

Absolutely! Just email me any adjustments you'd like, and I'm happy to make those!

What if I want you to come out and take photos of my medical staff in person?
